Year Round Program
Mariposa Bilingual School offers a variety of flexible year-round enrollment options to meet the individual needs and goals of our children and their families. Our program is structured through what we call Season Sessions, where we celebrate the natural changes around us and incorporate those changes in our classwork. All programs accommodate weekly 2, 3 or 5-day schedules, with various drop-off and pickup times for increased convenience.

Seasonal Themes
Seasonal themes are one of the best ways to teach children. Each season is unique and creates new opportunities for learning.
The school year is divided into 4 themes relating to the cycle of the seasons (Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter). Within each theme, teachers engage learning through language, math, science, and social skills, with an emphasis on fine and gross motor skills. This curriculum also integrates letters, numbers, art, and music so that each individual child is ready for the next step in their education.
We use seasonal themes as a way to enhance and integrate learning across all facets of the curriculum. Integrating learning helps provide cohesion and depth to the learning experience. Strong planning and classroom organization as well as a classroom rich with material selections, help bolster the success of the seasonally themed curriculum.
Each day, our children are given the opportunity to create new experiences and discoveries were we aim to empower them to understand and love their environment and to care for the world around them. This helps give them an opportunity to be critical thinkers and confident learners as they explore the world around them.
Inclusive Program
Our inclusive programs aim to introduce students to various cultural events from around the world. We embrace all people and beliefs, and we celebrate a variety of cultural holidays in a conscious appreciation of life and love. This endeavor underscores our desire to make your child’s experience positive and welcoming. We offer praise and reward to every child’s ideas and contributions. Your child may be away from home for the first time, so this positive environment ensures a safe and secure start to the organized learning process.
